Abstract: | The current study aimed to identify strategic intelligence as an intervening variable in the relationship between servant leadership and organizational performance excellence in the security services, with the intelligence service as a model. The study relied on the descriptive analytical approach to achieve the study objective. The study population consisted of all employees in the intelligence service in the city of Hebron. The study sample consisted of (175) male and female employees in the intelligence service in the city of Hebron. The researcher relied on the questionnaire tool to collect data, and the data was entered into the statistical package SPSS. After analyzing the data, several results were reached, the most important of which are: The degree of application of servant leadership in the Palestinian General Intelligence Service was high from the perspective of employees in the Palestinian General Intelligence Service, as the arithmetic mean reached (3.65) with a standard deviation of (0.759). The degree of use of strategic intelligence in the Palestinian General Intelligence Service was high from the perspective of employees in the Palestinian Intelligence Service, as the arithmetic mean reached (3.74) with a standard deviation of (0.741). The organizational performance of the Palestinian General Intelligence Service (GIS) was highly distinguished from the perspective of its employees, with an arithmetic mean of 3.68, with a standard deviation of 0.760. Strategic intelligence acts as a mediating variable between servant leadership and organizational performance excellence in the Palestinian General Intelligence Service. There is a statistically significant effect at the level (α ≤ 0.05) between the variables of servant leadership and strategic intelligence on the variable of performance excellence from the perspective of employees in the Palestinian General Intelligence Service. The study made several recommendations, most notably the importance of integrating the concepts of servant leadership and strategic intelligence into the comprehensive strategic plans of the Palestinian General Intelligence Service, given their significant impact on raising the level of performance and achieving sustainable security excellence. |
