Abstract: The study aimed to explore the role of transformational leadership and its dimensions in enhancing competitive capabilities through the employment of strategic intelligence as a mediating variable in pharmaceutical companies in the Gaza Strip. The study adopted the descriptive analytical approach and used a questionnaire to collect data from all pharmacists working in five pharmaceutical companies in the Gaza Strip, with a total of (51) pharmacists, using a census survey method. The results indicated that the levels of practicing transformational leadership, employing strategic intelligence, and the reality of competitive capabilities were all high, with relative weights of (79.20%), (76.80%), and (77.20%), respectively. The findings also revealed a positive, statistically significant role of transformational leadership and its dimensions in enhancing both strategic intelligence and competitive capabilities, as well as a positive, statistically significant role of strategic intelligence in enhancing competitive capabilities. This suggests a substantive, almost complete mediating role of strategic intelligence in explaining the effect of transformational leadership on competitive capabilities. Moreover, the results related to demographic differences showed no statistically significant differences at the level (α ≤ 0.05) in the respondents’ perceptions of transformational leadership, strategic intelligence, and competitive capabilities attributable to the gender variable. In contrast, statistically significant differences were found for the age variable in favor of the older age categories (40–less than 50) and (50 years and above). No statistically significant differences were recorded for the educational qualification variable in transformational leadership and strategic intelligence, whereas significant differences emerged in competitive capabilities in favor of holders of a Master’s degree. No statistically significant differences were found for the company variable in transformational leadership and strategic intelligence, while significant differences in competitive capabilities appeared in favor of Birzeit Pharmaceuticals and Masrouji Pharmaceuticals. As for years of service, no statistically significant differences were found in transformational leadership, while significant differences emerged in both strategic intelligence and competitive capabilities in favor of those with (15) years of experience or more. In light of these findings, the study recommends, among other things, strengthening clear ethical codes of conduct and disseminating them across all managerial levels, allocating tasks in accordance with employees’ strengths and closely monitoring their performance, and implementing systems to monitor resource consumption and adopting “smart conservation” policies in ways that support the sustainability of competitive capabilities.</description>

Abstract: This study aimed to examine the effect of job burnout on the effectiveness of employee performance in non-profit organizations in the Gaza Strip. The descriptive-analytical approach was adopted, and a questionnaire was used to collect primary data. The study population consisted of all employees working in three purposively selected non-profit organizations in the Gaza Strip, namely Oxfam, Ghazi Desk Foundation, and Al-Salamah Charitable Society, with a total population of 133 employees. A comprehensive survey method was applied to all members of the study population.&#xD;
The findings revealed that the level of job burnout was high, with a relative importance of 76.7%, while the level of employee performance effectiveness was also high, with a relative importance of 69.8%. The results further indicated a negative effect of job burnout on the effectiveness of employee performance, explaining 35% of the variance. Emotional exhaustion was found to be the most influential dimension negatively affecting overall employee performance (38%), followed by reduced personal accomplishment (25%), whereas depersonalization had the least negative effect (16%).&#xD;
Additionally, the study revealed statistically significant differences in respondents’ perceptions of job burnout attributable to demographic variables, including gender (in favor of males), marital status (in favor of married respondents), and age (in favor of employees under 30 years old). No statistically significant differences were found with respect to academic qualification or organization.&#xD;
Regarding employee performance effectiveness, statistically significant differences were found according to gender (in favor of females) and organization (in favor of Oxfam), while no significant differences were attributed to marital status, age, or academic qualification.&#xD;
The study recommended the equitable distribution of tasks according to employees’ capabilities and job roles, the allocation of short daily rest periods during working hours, highlighting employees’ success stories through media platforms, and linking individual performance to institutional goals.</description>

Abstract: The study aimed to identify the role of scenario planning in achieving institutional excellence within organizations for persons with disabilities in the southern governorates of Palestine. The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical approach, relying on a questionnaire as the primary tool for data collection from the target group. A comprehensive survey method was employed, covering the study population of 90 individuals, consisting of board members and executive directors. A total of 83 valid questionnaires were retrieved, representing a response rate of 92.2%. Data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS).&#xD;
The results indicated that the degree of scenario planning implementation was moderate, with a relative weight of 67.62%, while the level of institutional excellence was also rated as moderate, with a relative weight of 67%. The findings revealed a strong positive correlation between the dimensions of scenario planning and institutional excellence. Regression analysis showed that the most influential dimensions on institutional excellence were: "identifying participants," "identifying influencers," "identifying unknown future factors," and "formulating strategy," whereas the remaining dimensions had no significant impact. The results also showed statistically significant differences in the degree of scenario planning implementation attributed to the gender variable in favor of females, and to the job title variable in favor of board chairpersons. However, no significant differences were found related to academic qualification or years of service.&#xD;
The study recommended several actions, most notably: developing mechanisms to involve experts and specialists in strategic planning, enhancing the capacities of board members and executive directors through training on strategic analysis techniques and skills, encouraging innovation, and strengthening various incentive systems.</description>

Abstract: The study aimed to identify the reality of the application of digital management in its dimensions: digital planning, digital organization, digital guidance, and digital censorship, in the Palestinian security services in Hebron governorate, and its impact on institutional performance in these agencies.&#xD;
To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive analytical method, and the study population consisted of the brothers affiliated with the security services in the directorates of Hebron governorate, which are affiliated with: General Intelligence, Military Intelligence, Preventive Security, and the Palestinian Police, of the rank of lieutenant or higher, who number (174) male and female officers, who have positions that have a direct relationship and direct link and powers to use digital management, and a relative sample was selected from this community, consisting of (120) research items, and the questionnaire was used as a tool To collect data from the study sample, and analyze the results of these data through SPSS V.30 software.&#xD;
The most important results reached by the study are that the reality of applying digital management in the Palestinian security services in the Hebron Governorate was at a high level, with a relative weight of (70.2%), and that the level of institutional performance of the Palestinian security services in the Hebron Governorate was at a medium level, with a relative weight of (66.2%). It was found that there is a positive, direct relationship between the application of digital management and institutional performance in the Palestinian security services, and the relationship, whose correlation coefficient reached (0.780), was strong. The results also showed that the application of digital management explains the variance in the institutional performance of the apparatus by a percentage of no less than (60.8%). The results also showed that the Palestinian security services enjoy a relatively high level of applying digital management, as the relative weight of its application level reached (70.2%). The results also showed that the level of institutional performance in the security services under study reached an average level with a degree of (66.2%).&#xD;
The study proposed a number of recommendations, the most important of which are: enhancing the impact of digital management on performance through the establishment of centers dedicated to digital excellence and the adoption of international standards in this field, and the need to start with the governance of digital management in security institutions, and the study also recommended the need to activate and strengthen partnerships between the security apparatus and between research and academic institutions to benefit from their expertise in the field of digitization and technology, in addition to the need to enhance the role of digital planning in the security apparatus through the development of strategic digital plans and improving procedures Analysis of digital risks and challenges and linking digital plans to the strategic objectives of the Authority.</description>
